As if one gay conversion therapy film this year wasn’t enough, along comes Boy Erased. Starring Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe and Lucas Hedges, the film follows a family coming to terms with their son, Jared, coming out.
But in a Southern Baptist town, the acceptance he’s looking for seems unattainable, especially when he is sent to a religious conversion therapy camp.
