The first official images for the new American Horror Story series have been released, along with the series title: Apocalypse.

The images seem to be hinting at a demonic baby storyline, but the show has a history of throwing fans off the scent.

Creator Ryan Murphy confirmed September would be the month as is usual for AHS. Murphy also confirmed that Apocalypse would also be the long-awaited Murder House/Coven crossover season.

AHS favourites like Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters and Emma Roberts will return, in addition to Dame Joan Collins who will join this year. No word yet on whether the original Murder House cast will be reunited.
